Not at 10 yet, so here are the real numbers from 4 days, counting only browsers that actually run the page. Posting on X from a new account: almost nothing, replies seen by 1 or 2 people. Indie Hackers comments: 3 to 4 visits a day, steady. What surprised me: the first stranger who actually used the product came overnight, after a batch of replies on X under posts where founders asked people to drop their link. Answering a request beat broadcasting by a wide margin. 16 real visits today, 0 paying users so far.

That’s a useful early signal—steady visits from IH comments are encouraging. I like the “answering a request” insight too; it’s a good reminder to meet people where they’re already looking.

Twitter, engaging and providing value in a community where your customers are. That's how to get from 0 to 1.

Exactly—finding the places where your customers already hang out makes the first step much easier. The value-first part is what keeps it from feeling like a pitch.
