Where do Devs go to have a common Dev Area?

Hi.

Let me be clear. I'm not trying to promote anything that's a competitor to IndieHackers. (I ask that you don't do this either!!)

However, I'm insanely interested/looking for an online place that I can get to to help others, to schedule get togethers, etc.. with people who are really looking to build their respective apps.

There was the wave of "Incubators" in various cities.. but this more or less faded. There's still the "HackerDojo" in the east bay.san jose area.

But I'm looking for that online place.

As an example. I research, find open source app that might be a start. Download it.. and have some issues I'd like to be able to post about, with the idea that I might (hopefully) get answers from someone regarding the issue.

I'm looking for more of a continual/working space that happens to be online..

As opposed to stackoverflow, where its a wait and pray..

thoughts/comments?

Thanks
