Where do you find good SEO writers?

Where do you find good writers for SEO / Content Marketing / Affiliate sites? I've tried things like fiver in the past but quality is so bad

They don’t exist (unless you want to publis the average, mediocre and regurgitated content that plagues the internet).

If you are an expert on the subject you should write about it yourself. Otherwise you should hire someone who is an actual expert and not a random Fiverr SEO copywriter.

Craiglist (english speaking countries) works good for us. Just make sure to ask for a 250 words blurb, most people are willing to write one. We got an awesome writer for $100-150 per 2500 words article from there.

I found some good ones on Upwork but I went through a lot of bad ones to find them.

How much do they charge on average? lets say per 500 word article on a bulk basis?

We also used Upwork for a while, but after we had a very bad experience while we did not get some work delivred and the freelancer was paid automaticly.

We had all evidence baking up the fact that the work delivred was never accepted but Upwork didn't lift a finger to fix it.

I really advise you against using them!

        Usually 4-12 cents per word

Does this actually work for getting customers? I avoid sites with spammy shallow articles like the plague

Yeah I'm the same. But there's a whole industry of affiliate marketing sites that are generating really good returns. Everyone sees thing differently I guess

      These are great, thank you!

What's the field or subject matter for your content?

I haven't finalized that yet but was just wondering if there is a particular platform most use for good vetted writers

I know someone who does it in my city - the way I found them is I went to a meetup about "technical writing documentation" and happened to find someone who has tech-proficient and knew the ropes of SEO. Happy to recommend but it's not as cheap as fiverrr.

I run Unlimitedd.xyz . We do not write - but free up time on fringe jobs - like posting/seo/meta/markup/socials etc. before publishing a post. You therefore end up paying lesser to your writers.

Let me know if I can help in any case.

    Thanks

There are some hidden gems in Fiverr that we've found. However, the best writers are experts within the niche, and it just takes some manual networking and referrals to find them.

I have tried FB groups and Fiverr. Really bad experience on Fiverr, and found some very talented folks on FB groups, but need to vet them throughly.

I tried Fiver, and I was not satisfied with the quality. Also on fiver, you get a lot of spam, and you have to ask people something from your job post, just to be sure they are not bots.

On Upwork, I get just a few applicants.

My way to find a quality writer was Facebook Groups. Just post your job on several groups and prepare questions to ask candidates. Also ask them for some previous work, and portfolio.
