Where do you find LinkedIn influencers?
Hello Everyone,
I've found several places to find influencers on Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube (Uplfluence, Influence,AspireIQ, Socialbakers etc.)
However, I can't seem to find anything for LinkedIn.
For Ex: Some like Dave Gerhardt who as an ardent following from marketeers is someone I'd like to get in touch with if I am selling some marketing automation software for brand advertising if not for conversions.
Do you know of any source which lists Profile - No of Followers - What do they post most about on LinkedIn ?

If there isn't one, this would be a good idea for someone to build. There are multiple influencer directories for other social apps but none for LinkedIn.
Great idea. Not sure how one could go about it. Linkedin API is very restrictive and members are only allowed up to 30K connections (not sure if this limit applies to followers)
From spending a week on this, I've learned this:
LinkedIn API sucks. They want to keep everything inside their platform. They made this move in 2015.
Users can have 30,000 connections but they can have as many followers as they want. You can follow someone that is not your connection. I have seen several accounts with greater than 50K connections. The popular shitpost motivations gurus have over 1M+ followers. I think they can monetize their followers.
There is a way to make a business out of it. I bet there is a high correlation between #posts and # followers/ connections.
Putting together a quick experimental page and throwing 50$ on a linkedin marketing targeting "Frequent Contributors" (Linkedin Taxonomy), inviting them to sign-up to become "Linkedin Influencers"?
Yeah ! I was thinking that same. Easy way to validate. Filtering people by connections # is the challenge.
Alternately, like you said, we could run an ad on LinkedIn asking "Influencers" to sign-up.
