Where do you find solutions for a problem?

Hei,

There are a lot of solutions that may solve problems, but are they easy to find?! Yes, Google knows everything, but if there are no results for my problem, where should I go?

In the last period, I saw more platforms that share ideas for the next billion startups like needgap.com, kern.al, and some platforms like producthunt.com.

Is there any platform that is built for people with a problem who meet other people with solutions?

This article explains how Noah Kagan finds problems in "Step 1: Find your (profitable) idea." https://tim.blog/2011/09/24/how-to-create-a-million-dollar-business-this-weekend-examples-appsumo-mint-chihuahuas/

I personally found the idea for my current startup because my friend in a different industry came to me asking if I could build it for them. They were heavily motivated because they could make money if they had this product and they wanted to split the profit with me. We looked into it more and realized others in the industry wanted it too.

    Hi Bogdan

Would something like this fit ? https://nugget.one/ideas

I used it many years ago and was a great place to find problems.

Or I guess are you thinking something like reddit but for problems where you post your problem ?

The ideas shared on nuggest.one looks like what I am looking for. Thanks.

Did you built some projects using this?

No I didn't, I looked at it many years ago but then moved on to other things.

        Glad it was of help.

      Hei Mits,

The website looks interesting, I'll give it a try.

I'm thinking of a dedicated place where an accountant for example is tired of doing the same task in Excel day by day or my neighbor can ask for a platform like Airbnb for parking spots, where my mother can ask for a website with cooking recipes.

All the websites I know are that kind of marketplace where developers, businesses, someone else are trying to sell you their solution. The solution can be good or cannot, but those places are presenting solutions built already, like ProductHunt. But I'm a simple man, with no business interests, just someone with a problem to fix. The community/that developer or businessman above can come here and reply to my thread "hey Bobo, your problem already has some solutions, are these abc.com, abcd.com". Or maybe someone finds that problem and tries to spin the wheels and fix it.

I think Reddit, Quora, and other kinds of platforms are really great, but are not dedicated to this kind of problem. At the same time, I am asking if that simple man that I mentioned before would try to find this platform/website and put his problem in?
