Where do you guys get UI/UX inspiration?

Just wondering what tools some you are using for UI/UX design or inspiration?

Basically first of all these links:

    Design

    HTML / JS / Design

I have Muzli as Chrome extension, so I don't need much stuff. Because there's always something new coming. Exception is Codrops. I've been following that for years.

Muzli looks awesome! Thanks for the share! I'll definitely be using it

    • Typewolf.com: a showcase of beautiful type-centric websites.
    • Land-book.com: landing page inspiration.
    • Awwwards.com: I have to admit that 90% of sites on awwwards are UX mess. But some of them are pretty good.
    • CSSdesignawards.com: similar to Awwwards but on the minimal side.
    • Dribbble is a good place to find micro-interaction/illustration/color inspirations.
    • ProductHunt: the best way to learn UX is to test-drive all the shiny new products.

I am not a designer myself. So when I am building a side project that does not include a side project, I have two rules:

    1. Use a template for UI. This was done by a designer, always better than what I would make!
    2. Watch someone use my product and don't say a word. This tells me a lot about my UI and UX :)

Where do you find UI templates? 🤔

I prefer using Bootstrap for my projects. And for Bootstrap there are really a lot of both free and paid Bootstrap themes.

You can take a look at my both products, they are both Bootstrap themes (1 is free, 1 is paid.)

Here you can find really good paid Bootstrap themes: https://themes.getbootstrap.com/

And here there are some free ones: https://startbootstrap.com/themes/

          1. 1

I would say Tailwind css has templates

Wow! This is awesome. As a Front end Dev of course I always attempt to build from scratch but i really like some of these templates and why not save a some hours

I am a full stack dev. This really saves me not even hours but days!!
            for read15minsaday.com I bought a template, best spent 40 dollars ever :D

When it comes to UI/UX I tend to mix and match what I like from a bunch of different sources. Check out Dribbble and Awwwards, those are definitely two heavy hitters
