Where do you look for icons when designing a landing page?

I'm looking for icons for my product https://askgen.ie, I found https://flaticon.com, and their icons are really clean and nice looking.

Which icon website do you recommend the most?

    Hello!
As a general rule web designers usually use a free libereria called "https://fontawesome.com/" I use it in almost all my projects and with the free icons is more than enough.

      Was it AI generated icon?

Not at all, go visit heroicons.com and iconbuddy.app to find out.
Do you need AI generated icons ?

Hero icons are all hand crafted by JamesM, I think. He’s the same designer who does all of the tailwind designs.

I incorporated icons from the following sources:

    Material-UI Icons: https://mui.com/material-ui/material-icons/
    React Icons: https://react-icons.github.io/react-icons
    Font Awesome: https://fontawesome.com/

Hi! Icons as illustrations or for UI elements?

If illustrations, I use svgrepo (no "free download" or "log in to download" or "premium" icons). If UI elements, I use tabler-icons.

Cool! We have no design experience, so we are still learning. Thanks!

Hi! I use this app from the team at CodyHouse: https://nucleoapp.com. It's a great app for collecting icons for projects, and it contains a lot of open-source icons inside.

I go to the figma community and just search icon pack, you can usually get some super cool stuff there

    Have a look at logobook
It’s free and you can twist your icon.

I usually use flaticon.com since I am a premium user of freepik.com, which also grants me free access to flaticon. Whenever I require animated icons, I always check lordicon.com, their animated icons are super cool but limited number for now.

I've used Heroicons (still using it from time to time), but today I'm mostly using tabler-icons.

Really good questions, here to upvote 🙂

I've used Flaticon for landing pages I've built.

They have a nice selection. Even show related styles to the icon you find so your design can look similar.

Nice site! Just wanted to point out it isn’t mobile friendly yet but is still beautiful.

Hey I feel your pain! I ended up using Fiver best choice ever, here's the link to the gig I used. Ooop! can't post links yet too bad but his name is: Zonestudio

I use icones.js.org for my personal projects.

Look for the noun project, plenty of choice there
