Where do you network? πŸ‘©β€πŸ’»

I'm interested in where do people do their networking these days?

  • Is it Twitter, IndieHackers or maybe in-person somewhere local?
  • How do you approach people you'd like to meet?

I really like lunchclub.com - I've had a couple of meetings so far in my space (intersection of financial markets and machine learning), and I've already learnt a ton. Highly recommend the service.

    EDIT: Added the correct URL

Indie Hackers, Twitter, a couple of paid communities, with my Rosieland subscribers.

I like subreply.com a lot for its simplicity. Lots of interesting people in there.

Looks interesting! This actually reminds me a lot of midnight pub! πŸ˜„

Haha yes, I think both are quite similar. :)

I've tried them all, and I'd say right here is by far the best place to meet people. @csallen and @rosiesherry have done an amazing job at creating a fun and welcoming community.

While IH is great, I feel like most people on IH just want to advertise their product in some shape or form, so it's very hard to find/engage in good discussion. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong groups tho πŸ€”
