Where do you share your blog content?

Outside of ranking with SEO, interested to understand what avenues you go about sharing content to find readers who might be interested in the content?
I've got Reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter on my list but seems like a too narrow focus. Other ideas of other communities to interact with?

I think it's pretty easy to say to promote in specific places, but to do it well you have to spend time in these spaces and often build up some strong relationships. For example, going to Twitter to share your content won't help if you haven't invested time in building a following.
My preference is to spend time in places like IH, Twitter, Rosieland and just naturally share my things amongst other things I do. There's a real fine line of coming across as spammy and self promotional and the people that win are those that give more than they ask.
I find it's helpful to avoid commenting on things like "I wrote about this in my blog" with a link as a comment. You should synthesize the key points from your blog post, and drop a link at the bottom if they are interested in reading more.
Quora is a good place to share your blog post too.
+1 to what Rosie said. I think developing relationships with your community is key.
Slack Groups, Facebook Groups, and LinkedIn groups (although the latter can get pretty spammy) are also good channels to distribute your blog content, so long as it's relevant to the audience in those communities. Try to avoid just dropping a link, but rather show the value through some accompanying copy or by asking a question that can encourage discussion.
I'd recommend building some 1:1 relationships with influencers in your industry too. Whenever you have a piece of content that they genuinely might be interested in sharing with their audience, you can ping them.
