It began as a small weekend project.
I love word games, but sometimes I’d get stuck trying to come up with a word. I looked for an easy tool to help, but most of what I found online felt messy or slow.
So I thought, why not build my own simple and fast version?
I started with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — nothing fancy, just a few clean pages that worked well on both phone and computer.
Each page focused on words of a specific length — for example:
4-letter words
5-letter words
6-letter words
The idea was to make it as simple as possible for anyone to use — type, click, and get the results.
Once the website was live, I started sharing it with friends who play Wordle and Scrabble.
Slowly, more people started using it. Seeing that felt great — something I built for fun was actually helping others too.
It also motivated me to keep improving it and adding new features like longer word lists and better navigation.
I’m now planning to add a Word of the Day page and maybe a small game section where users can play word challenges online.
I’m not in a rush — I just enjoy building and improving things that people find useful.
Building WordFinderTips.com reminded me that you don’t always need a huge plan to start something.
Sometimes, small ideas grow naturally when you just keep going.
