Where to meet people who are interested in building a company together?

For someone to join as a co-founder, you should have something that you can bring to the table.

You can start making posts on various forums, but the important point is to mention - ‘What you can bring to the table. Rather than just saying you are looking for a tech cofounder/non-tech cofounder, improve your chances of providing more data on what you have done around a given idea. Below are a few examples of how you can be better.

• ‘Hey, I created a waitlist signup list of 408 users interested in my product, Need a Tech co-founder to help build this’ and mention what all you did to get these users and what all you were looking for in the co-founder.
• ‘Hi, I have an idea that I want to build. I am not in tech. So, I created a small MVP using NoCode tools. Here is a demo/loom video. Looking for a co-founder to bring this to life, and I have validated a little bit of this by taking to users’

Add as much information as possible; this will get people interested and show that you are serious about your product. Double bonus if both co-founders have complementary skills.

IndieHackers is a good place to put your thoughts and get some folks interested (DM me on Twitter and I would be happy to upvote and get you some better traction.

MicroSaaSHQ is one place where you can start looking for co-founders. This is run by me. Gives access to an entire ecosystem to build Micro SaaS products.

I'm one of the Co-Founders of WunderGraph and I met my co-founder on YC Find a co-founder. Can't recommend it enough.

There's https://angel.co/jobs if you want to look at companies that are already started. Lots of listings for "cofounder" roles that have equity-based compensation. I've chatted with teams I met from there and had some really great conversations.

I want a partner too, for my next project -- not this one fabform.io . I don't want a tech partner I have the tech skills coming out the ying yang ( I think than means arse), what I am lacking is marketing chops. I am mediocre at digital marketing at best.

There's a lot of places to find like-minded founders. But I'd wager that more than 99% of the connections resulting from founder-looking-for-cofounder platforms don't work out for longer than a few months

The more you network/socialize/join groups the higher the chances of finding someone suitable to partner up with. Indie Hackers, Hacker News, Meetup, are all great online places to find 'your people'. From there, ask the right questions, depending on what you're looking for and with any luck, you should find someone.
