Where to share Product Validation Landing Page Links?

So, you got a new business idea for a B2C product, throw together a landing page to validate that idea, and then you need to get people to see said landing page, so you can gauge interest.

Let's make this a bit harder... You've no money for advertising, and the relevant sub-reddit is hostile to commercial software (rule #1 states not to post links to anything that's closed-source).

What would you do to get traffic? Are there any directories like beta-list where you could post an as yet non-existent product/service?

I realize that the exact answer would depend on the target market/audience. If you need to, pick a market and be creative. I'm interested in what people do (or would do) rather than any specific example or case.

For those who stumble on this post, there's a useful list of possible places to share over here:

I tried producthunt, IH and online forums. In the end cold messaging and asking frinds to repost ended up being the best leads.

How many visitors do one need to validate a product in B2C?

I'm not sure how many visitors one would need to validate a B2C product, other than more than B2B. Consumers are more price sensitive, so you generally need to sell more.

Rather than having a specific number of visitors, it would be better to look at the conversion rate. A high conversion rate would indicate stronger interest. Of course, you need a sizable number of visitors to check the conversion rate...
