So far the book which inspired me most has been Maverick by Ricardo Semler. In this autobiographical book he described his years in the company his father founded, and how he managed to introduce democracy on the factory floors as part of the way the company was run.
There’s a good chapter about it in The Manager’s Path by Camille Fournier. The rest of it is definitely worth reading in addition to this

I am not sure if it is among the best books, but https://www.redhat.com/en/explore/the-open-organization-book might be worth a read. The Red Hat culture is truly amazing for a company of that size.
