We have been working on a sales application part-time for the past few years. For the beta launch, we have signed up a few international companies interested to use our product and pay using stripe (which is currently not available in our country). After wide consultations, we have settled to open a US based company using Stripe Atlas so we can use stripe for payments and also for future fundraising and development of our company.
Due to the COVID19 Pandemic, we have faced some financial challenges that if not addressed immediately might delay our operations. As a result, I am requesting for recommendations on the best crowdfunding sites where we can raise $2,800. The $500 will go towards registering a US based company with Stripe Atlas while $2,300 will help us meet some short-term operational costs.
As non of our team members has been involved in any crowdfunding campaign, any advise and tips on successful fundraising will be highly appreciated.
I don't think it's a valid approach.
Why is your company suited for crowdfunding at all? You just want to raise money ( GoFundme style ) or sell equity in your company?
If you have customers - ask them to pay in advance so you will have some funds to grow.
