Which gamification scheme is so good that I should copy?

I don't mean literal copy, but you now: 'get inspired'.

I need to add some gamification part to my project, and I would like to know which are the greater examples out there.

So far, I know of Duolingo. My mom is literally addicted to it.

Can you share any great site to have a look at?

    Hey @juanseb, @johnt2021,

You can check out this case study that I've curated for my site.

Quick summary: this SaaS founder introduced gamification into his app to increase free users conversion from 5% to 45%.

I've got other examples on GrowthHunt.co if you are interested. Cheers!

Just finished reading it. It's certainly an awesome story!
I do need to rethink my gamification process, I think something slightly similar on my end will work😁

Sorry, I don't give any data before I see any value.

I'm working of lifeofdiscipline.com that uses Github-like calendar heatmaps to inspire users.

Recently I've worked on a point system with a public leaderboard that got the top users excited. The larger their habit streaks, the more points they earn, so their points compound. Large numbers/point systems that grow exponentially seems to work in my case.

While very popular, there are lots people who are put off by gamification. For me it's often a deal breaker and I know many others who think the same. This usually happens with advanced users.

    Just a data point.

That's true. As I see it, if well done it will satisfy 95% of your users, and dissatisfy the rest. If it rises average engagement I see it as a good investment.

I'm also interested! I tried adding this in my app, but I'm sure I didn't do it right, since it's not working😁
