Which is the best payment gateway for mobile applications with microtransactions? (less than $1)

I did some research into it sometime back. The only decent solution found was PayPal microprocessing. In the end we went with an internal point system, where users top up with $10 or $20 and use it over time. They get more points that they can use in the future on a graduated scale.

I’m no expert, someone else might be able to be clearer, but from what I can gather none of them will work well due to the transaction fee overhead from the card vendors, eg visa. This is one reason people were suggesting bitcoin etc would be good for microtransactions. 🤷‍♂️
