Which landing page is better - our actual one or this shitty version I made in 15 min?

I saw this app on Hacker News that lets you build and publish on the web directly and so thought it'd be funny to procrastinate and publish our company landing page as if it were being launched by high schoolers back in the late 90s. But after having made it, I feel like it actually conveys the message better than the actual one we have now.

Current one - https://quid.li
Shitty one - https://ugliest.app/l/7658c63c-e4d5-43e3-89d6-42e095ed5b25/Quidli

Anyone care to give feedback, their thoughts?

    Your real landing page is much better. The only (small) complaint that I have is that it looks and flows just like everyone else’s landing page in 2020. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing really distinctive about your startup stands out.

      Appreciate the sanity check! 😅

      Also thanks for the feedback - any ideas on how to break out of being like "everyone else's landing page in 2020?" Do you have any examples of pages you think stand out well?

        @jahn_quid Absolutely!

        I'm a big fan of Super's page. Modern, but minimal, and they are using neuomorphism in a very elegant way, so it stands out to me. I know what their product is, because my focus is shifted to it...in a smooth way. The hero, CTA, and everything else that needs to be there, is there, but it's pulled off remarkably well.

        That's probably one of my favorite's, off the top of my head.

        With the massive amount of sensory stimulation that is thrown at people constantly, I think it is important to stand out but without appearing that you are trying to stand out.
