In my opinion, the metrics and KPIs that are crucial to the success of your startup are:

    1. Profitability Ratio (the ratio between the profit generated by the company and the invested capital).
    2. Return on Investment (the ratio between the profit generated by the company and the initial investment made).
    3. Net Profit (the amount of profit, which the company generated during a specific period of time).
    4. Net Income (the amount of money, which is generated during the entire year through the company’s operation).
    5. Net Profit Margin (the ratio between the profit and the capital invested).
    6. Return on Assets (the ratio between the profit generated by the company and the assets owned).
    7. Return on Equity (the ratio between the profit generated by the company and the invested capital).
    8. Return on Investment on Equity (the ratio between the profit generated by the company and the invested capital).
    9. Return on Investment on Total Assets (the ratio between the profit generated by the company and the invested capital).

Makes sense! The Profitability Ratio should always be one of the primary metrics to track.

Metrics and KPIs are important measures of business performance. They are often presented as numbers, such as revenue growth rate and return on investment.

For example, knowing the number of customers who bought a certain product helps you determine its popularity. Knowing the cost per customer gives you a sense of profitability.

Here are some of the KPI metrics to consider:

    1. customer acquisition cost (CAC)

    2. average revenue per user (ARPU)

    3. churn rate

    4. churn cycle length

    5. retention rates, etc.

Once you have defined the critical metrics, you will then need to decide on your KPI.

For example, you might choose CAC or ARPU as your key performance indicator.

Then, once you have established your KPIs, you will need to measure them regularly.

    Hope this answer this helpful!

Startups usually have several KPIs (key performance indicators). They want to measure things such as revenue, growth rate, customer satisfaction or churn rates. In order to achieve these goals, every company has its own strategy. For example, some focus on sales growth, while others focus on cost reduction. And then, there are those who try to increase user retention.

For example, if you want to get better at sales, then set up KPIs such as average revenue per user (ARPU), average order value (AOV) and conversion rate.

Note: When choosing the right KPIs, it’s helpful to consider whether or not they align with the organizational goals of the business. If you want to increase sales, then measuring profit would be appropriate, but if you want to build trust within customers, then measuring customer happiness might be more useful. Regardless of the type of measurements you choose, it’s essential to track them regularly. This helps you gain valuable insights into the health of your business and enables you to identify areas where you can improve.
