Which no-code platform should I choose?

Hi fellows No-coders, I am just starting now to build an online platform with .Bubble but I really don't know if it is the right choice.
For your experience is it good?

I don't know if I need to buy the domain from them and pay for hosting as well(from them) besides the $25/ month plan.

I am really concerned about the costs that I will face(also in the future) and want to be able to remove my website from the platform one day and be independent from the platform, is that possible on Bubble?

Are there better options for me?

Thanks

(This is optional but I would like to easily transform my website in a mobile app so if any of these no code software has also this option this would be great )

It really depends on what you're building. If it's a mobile-first app, maybe going straight with a nocode mobile app builder like glideapps might be better.

If it's a landing page, I usually use Carrd - super intuitive and easy to use and set up.

If it's a SaaS-like website, I would go with a static site generator like Stackbit - sets up a JAMstack site within minutes, with no coding required. I'd been helping people set up static sites if you need help.

    Hey @andreascorrano
I can suggest you try our platform as an alternative option. You'll have it on your separate Digital Ocean instance. I'll be happy to lead you to the goal personally as a bonus. And it will be possible to export everything from there to be independent and move to a different platform.
    Cheers, Alex

I heard good things about Webflow. If I'm not mistaken, you could generate and export the code and use it on another platform. But I'm not sure about how good the code produced.

Also try Adalo HQ. Is is a mobile first platform that is really intuitive. Its getting better. I really liked it so far.

Your paid plan includes the cost of hosting. You buy the domain separately, but the $25 a month is everything you need to keep your app running. As others have mentioned, the higher paid plans allow you buy additional "capacity," which can help with performance.

You cannot export your app from Bubble, it's an all-in-one solution. You CAN export all your data, but not the app itself.

I've been building on Bubble since 2015 and have no major issues. When my apps have done well, I'm making enough money to scale the capacity. When my apps aren't worth keeping around, I transition them to the free plan.

The platform has its quirks, but it's been the best solution for me to build web apps without writing code. If you want mobile apps, I would look elsewhere, though you can still use Bubble for the backend.

I agree mostly with what’s been said. However when I read complaints about bubble performance, which are very legit, it is when you have thousands of users or very large datasets. If you just want to get an MVP out the door, bubble might be your best choice.

If you are concerned about keeping the code and deploying it yourself you can take a look at Wappler, but for me it was harder to wrap my head around that than bubble.
