Which online website is best for building MVP landing page and enhance later on for my product/service landing website?
by
Gintaras
Or it's better to DIY from the scratch? How do you deal with it?
Try Mobirise Website Builder. They are my first choice anytime!
It depends on the product type. Are you building something extremely custom, I checked your site Waitfeed, a site like that for MVP would be built with Wordpress or something similar to get you started. Once you have product market fit and good traction you can build a better backend.
If you're building a SaaS, selling courses, membership sites, newsletters etc there are well known practices you can follow that will help you increase conversion.
For SaaS I'm building Versoly we study the top SaaS pages and take them learnings and build the best landing page builder for the SaaS niche.
Actually I was asking regarding my other upcoming project not Waitfeed... Waitfeed is not MVP anymore, it's running for two years already, has many custom functionality, content crawlers to picking up data from the sources, algorithms for prioritizing that content and many more.. I'm struggling with finding market fit for it, but it was built by me with intention to have some fun, not to earn money, so all is fine ;)
Cool. Might be worth mentioning what type of project you're building.
Some tool which helps measure of/how well their startup idea is clear for their target customers. It's only in my head and some parts are already in the mockups, will ne some time until MVP is available ;)
Hey @vaitko I really like your Waitfeed idea and am surprised that it's not growing. Have you put a lot of effort into figuring out the marketing side and growing the traffic organically?
I think the concept is a winner and I feel like it should be organically growing through SEO even with no other marketing efforts. What happened in December to make Google hate you so much? Something obviously happened and you should figure out what that is because that might be everything. Maybe you need a technical SEO person to audit your work?
Are you using rel=canonical correctly? Maybe you're having duplicate content problems and maybe they aren't telling you since after all, they can't really tell us everything everything.
I think this was/is a brilliant idea and it would suck to see you give up on it...especially if it was due to small technical issue.
I would recommend Google Site. It has several layout template, to help non-designer setup a reasonable good looking site pretty quickly.
Best thing is, it is free!
Here's the an MVP landing page (https://www.wenote.me/) produced by me (who has 0 website design skill)
I use webflow for just about everything. It's super friendly, easy to figure out and highly flexible. If you need a starter template I have a few here: https://www.founderpad.co/free
Later on I'll be adding a complete design system where you can choose from hundreds of different sections to drop them into place to form a good starting point for just about any landing page imaginable. Just get on my list if you want to be updated when that's live.
Thanks, really great stuff!
