Which tagline you like?
A bit background, I am running a community called lonely.dev. I think quite a few people were caught their eyes because of its name. Also, it just resonates with lots of indie/solo/lonely hackers.
You think our community is lonely. But my goal is not to create a community that makes people feel even lonely. I want to have people being surrounded by other makers so that they don't feel lonely any more.
So the name lonely dev has it's pros and cons so to speak.
I want to deliver some positive impression to all our members and visitors. So I am thinking to change the tagline in the banner. Which one do you like?
"Vlogging your startup journey" seems to be good. It could be better if somehow you could add the "Together" part in it
Thank you Amin! I think you probably provided the best answer. "Vlogging your startup journey" may still be lonely. But "Vlogging your startup journey together" is definitely not lonely. I will put it as 1st candidate for now. Let's see if we can have more comments😜
I love the name of the service; I think I even "got it" without being told what the aim was. I can also see how tricky your conundrum is; you've got to acknowledge the "meh" everyone feels but put a positive spin on it.
What about something like: "Let's be alone together." I think there could be something in the distinction between "lonely" and "alone", as one is a feeling and the other is a state. You're trying to solve the feeling without necessarily changing the state, if that makes sense.
Thank you Zak! Thanks for telling me your first impression about our platform. I will try to not use lonely or alone in the tagline, these are the feeling and state that ppl try to avoid. "Together" may be a good keyword I can use. It sounds warm and positive😄
