Which tld domain is better to use, .bot or .app?

I am trying to figure out if i should keep my slack bot app as https://www.whoowns.bot or htttps://www.whoowns.app.
I've received some feedback that .bot has a negative connotation and a.. is better but it is technically a slack "bot" so thought I'd ask for your opinion.

Curious, based on all of the responses above, if .bot is better for anything?

I too would like to know.

  2. 2

Bot has a spam connotation, so definitely app

Go with "app" as it's basically an app of a bot. The "bot" one your users might think it's not really an app. Stange how the world goes.

Even so the "io" might also work better.

I would say go ahead with .app it avoids negative connotations from the audience

I'd 100% suggest you to go for .app. as .bot doesn't look trustworthy. Compared to .io, I'd still choose .app, since, your users might come not be too tech-savvy to be familiar with .io.
