I use Linkedin:
I zoom them
I actually stopped using email, and use Instagram DM's to reach my early stage customers (which are clothing resellers, and might not be typical depending on your market).
I think the great thing about Instagram DM's is that you can reach your customer quicker, there's a potential for a higher response rate if they follow you, and the fact that you can have video calls with them instead of sending over a zoom/hangouts link.
There alot more casual too, which is great as it lowers the "intensity" of each call.
Yeah! Instagram DM's are amazing. My customers are also on Instagram mostly. (Influencers, Personal Brands). It works very well. But i've to be on phone to do that. I think Instagram Desktop DM are coming soon. So that will work well.
Ya! It's available on desktop now. Not sure if this helps but I used to have the VA complete these repetitive, documented actions for me:
VA follows accounts in my niche. (I usually used something phantombuster to scrape data off of IG),
VA sends a video of me welcoming them to my account and sends a script to ask them if they’re interested in Spred, depending on the type of reseller. For example, if it was someone who had 10k+ followers, full time, had a social presence, we would ask to do written interviews to collaborate.
Depending on the response, I would check the DM’s daily and respond from there with details, ask for their email, etc.
We use Intercom for all our communication. We are looking at userlist.com to send email sequences, because 1) they supposedly do it better and 2) Intercom is too expensive for sending emails.
Last but not least: we are a Twitter tool, so we actively engage with our users on Twitter.
Usually LinkedIn or personalized email
