Hello everyone, it's my first post here :)
I would like to validate my idea and for this purpose I have created a landing page. The problem is... Some rules regarding bank cards verification changed in EU, and for a week already Google Ads has been refusing to accept my card and I can't publish my page to the world...
So I asked myself a question, what are the other ways to validate my idea? That's how I discovered this community, btw :) And I realized I have no idea who my customers might be. If I don't know that, I can't find them and ask them questions (The Mom Test)...
So my question is: how do I find out who my potential customers might be?
Note:
I'm aware that I've done the oldest mistake in the world - I've started with a solution rather than a problem... But I don't care :) I'm treating this experience as a lesson. Action taking rather than action faking.
Cheers!
We know nothing on the product, problem or customers, not sure we can help :sweat-smile:
maybe share the landing page or some details?
Sure, I was afraid this kind of "promotion" is not welcomed here :)

The idea is to build spreadsheets that can be easily used from an API or embedded in people's web pages/applications.
The difference from known "Google Spreadsheets to API" is that you can write reactive formulas that will notify you about a change through websockets or regular polling.
How about some screenshots?
So basically "sheets.google.com embed" is what you do? (as a simple explanation, I get you have your own system)
What do you envision this used for? (specific examples)
Like sheets are the worst UI is why there are sheets to webpages/apps generators, your thing is the other way around it sounds. (like I know/use/like them as "generators" in a way..)
So if you have specific use cases, and they would be "profitable"/useful for a user, then you need to find who would have that use case.
Thanks, those are good points :)
There are no screenshots yet, I haven't built anything yet, besides the landing page for validation.
Honestly, it's difficult for me to think of a use cases. I just love spreadsheets xD
I can imagine it being used for some financial/accounting apps. Ie. a portfolio app for your cryptocurrencies wallet - when your user registers a transaction, you will programmatically add a transaction to the spreadsheet, and all data will be recalculated according to your formulas.
have you tried airtable and notion?
glide and appsheet ?
Not yet, will do
the first two are more modern version of sheets
and later two take sheets and make em into an app (a bit reverse of what you suggested)
