So much around the IH community and other bootstrapping communities is focused on B2B, which makes sense. But I want to know, are there any people talking/writing about growing a B2C SaaS or anything similar.
I'd also appreciate a like or retweet on this tweet for reach!
There's definitely a noticeable bias against B2C within the community (maybe for good reason) but that doesn't mean B2C should be ignored. I'm sure there is lots of people trying it but not so many openly unfortunately. I only really see a couple big names that everyone knows.
What are these reasons? The thing I've heard is that individual customers require much more attention to detail for a much smaller ROI, but that might just be me.
I'm specifically trying to target individual customers now and hope they value the product so much that they introduce it in bigger groups. I'm trying to target both with a slightly different offering, which makes up for an interesting experiment.
Yeah it's basically that B2B is so much less of a headache because you are dealing with far fewer customers that are usually much more reasonable and have much more money to spend.
Hey Charles! I like your question! I hope people give a lot of names so we can follow them :D
I'm also doing B2C building (chooseyourplant.com) I'm writing why I do things but in an informal way. What kind of content do you expect? Maybe I could start sharing more often my experience!
Twitter? blog posts? product decisions and why? technical?
