Would this let me package a web app as a android app seamlessly? I mean not having to do the hack where I create a webview and enable javascript etc. in code. I have made this game which I might be interested in distributing. I haven't added service worker but that is simple enough if that is a hard requirement (since it says PWA). It is already responsive and works with phones; my motivation to adding it to play store would be for discoverability. It is obviously quite heavy on the JS side and I find the Android WebView is buggy in how it renders javascript.
It took me aroun 2-3 hours to create an android app for existing PWA. This article explains all the steps. You won't need to create any screen at all, no code, only some few configs and app icons.
I just submitted my first TWA for review. 🎉

This is yet another attempt at a budgeting and expense tracking application.
For chokinbako (https://chokinbako.app) I had started with a django application though decided against using flutter web. For instabudget (https://instabudget.app) I have decided to solely focus on mobile app.
Lot of interest around budgets I see. I would change the Chokinbako screenshots to use android device. That popped right away to me that you have iphone frame on there.
