As a solo founder, I've benefited a lot from having a mentor for my previous fintech startup. I had spent a lot of time to find an experienced one, suitable for my budget. That's why I decided to launch such a platform after managing to gather ~60 mentors.
Just launched a landing page quickly, and like Merott, I decided not to code until I get some attraction. (I love coding, and coding is like a trap for me, a comfort zone. And this is completely against lean startup culture)
I've recently joined IH. I am very happy to be here with other amazing makers. Looking forward to getting feedback from you!

Just launched a landing page for Xebel, a Slack bot to help online course creators better understand their students' goals, progress and obstacles, so that they can help them before they give up and churn!
I've decided I'm NOT going to touch any code until I have at least 3 committed customers. I have 1, and I need to find 2 more before I start building. Here's hoping I find them before the end of the year! 😁

It was not something new. But I got back to an old project and i want to finish and throw it out here :)

I started working on a new game with some friends that I know ill be brilliant -- you know you're in a good spot when the others on your project make you feel like the dumbest person in the room (but never treat you like you are).

It's more of a service right now to test the concept, but it was my first time designing a site in Webflow, connecting the DNS/CName, connecting an email, and adding google analytics!
Why did you go for 15 / 30 / 50 and not let's say... 5 / 10 / 20?
Thanks for the question @YannickVeys. My thinking behind this is the pain point wouldn't be large enough at only 5 jobs.
There are really 2 key pain points. 1 - It's tedious and boring 2. You have to repost on the right sequence for it to be effective.
If you are one recruiter and it takes say 1 minute to repost every job at only 5 openings that's only 15 minutes per week.
At 15 jobs, it becomes a pain point that is worth the $125.

We're currently incubating a concept here for release later in the month that focuses on matching businesses directly with customers that would want to use their business but aren't currently aware that those businesses exist (discoverability and finding customers is a problem every business has to deal with, so we're hoping to help with that). We're in the brand exploration stage at the moment.

Starting around the Thanksgiving break, I started up Maill Buffer. The idea was sparked by a Twitter convo and my experience with Rails got me about 70% of the way to an MVP on a long weekend.
I like the idea...how would it work for an email inbox that already receives lots of emails?
The idea here is that it works by reducing your intermittent but frequent emails. This of things like Stripe's/Gumroad's "You just made a sale" emails that you might get a 10 of a day...etc. Basically leaving you with a solution that is better than just, unsubscribing from an email or setting up a complicated filter in your email service.
My girlfriend and I just started working on a SaaS together. This will be our first project together. I’m not ready to go into more specifics just yet, but will be sharing in 2020!

Sounds nice. How do you plan to market it or find customers? I had a meditation related mobile app in the past but marketing it proved relatively tough for me.
Oh, I thought if I built it, they would just show up... :) Just kidding, working hard to get the word out but most importantly build a quality product with privacy and security at top of mind so users have a product that is useful, secure and private.

Hi Rosie, big fan - loved your interview on IH about MoT. I have an idea in the online marketing / growth hacking space, but can't really start it up until I do a bit more research in this area. If you or anyone reading this has a recommendation on book or resource for quickly learning growth hacking, or even more basic, the step-by-step actions to find a lead and walk the lead through some kind of funnel, that would be appreciated!
