Started something that became more popular than I thought it would: https://theproductperson.com

100+ curated articles + summaries to 10x your product skills 🛠️

    1. 2

“How it works” made me smile 😊

      1. 2

Haha thanks, I was hoping it would. Wanted to be real meta

  2. 4

I don't have any of the tips written up yet, and I technically started in October... But I've got my new project www.uiuxtips.com.

The plan is to write up a load of tips to help people with user interface and user experience design.

    1. 2

The site looks great (I'm not a big fan of the glowing card hover state, though)

      1. 2

Haha funny you should say that, I'm removing it! :D The site was completely white like two days ago where it looked slightly better... Has yet to be culled from the dark version aha

    2. 2

This is awesome! I can see this being super helpful to me as I build my own product... Especially as I'm terrible at UI/UX! Subscribed!

      1. 2

Yay! I hope to make it a solid resource for design tips to help out anyone with design. Hopefully the design equivalent of marketingexamples.com!

Once I've got some actual content up, I'll let you know! Thanks @Divuture

    3. 1

Beautiful site. Recently started learning more design so this will be useful.

    4. 1

Should have the content and the last of the bugs ironed out in the next couple of weeks! Still very much a WIP

My partner and I launched SaaSBox.net which is simple and easy way to run your entire SaaS business! From landing page creation to tracking your users and their plans and processing payments. It's never been easier to run an entire business out of a single application!

    1. 1

Hi Patrick, great to see you here! SaaSBox is indeed worthy of checking out for anyone trying to build a SaaS business on a pre-existing foundation. Good luck with the launch!

  4. 2

I've launch https://sparkyspot.com and looking for the partnership with a first companies. Let me know if you have open position at you project

    1. 1

Nice job board. Good luck with the project!

  5. 2

After working remotely for 7 years alone, I built CoWop (https://cowop.org) - Remote CoWorking Members' Club

It was built on webflow in a week. Would appreciate any feedback on the idea :)

    1. 1

The idea is good, working from home is a bit lonely at times. I really like the website, great work!

  6. 2

What to watch on [netflix, prime, hbo] ?
I completed a project I had in the back of my mind for long https://serieslist.io

A way to vote and suggest series, so I don't have to spend hours browsing netflix to decide what to watch. It's a Hacker News clone but with Series only.

Let me know what do you think please! thanks in advance!

Wow thanks! I really don't plan to add any new features for now until I receive some more feedback. Now its simple but it works.

I like it too, and it will be very useful for me, now struggling a little bit with chicken-egg problem. But, you know what? First user has signed up today and added "Sons of Anarchy" ... Silly, but what a good feeling.

It has been an exercise to learn React in a week.

Oh Im sorry, I only learn by example. I just used stackoverflow and React simple apps in github.

Start from there, and start building exactly what you want, you will be solving and learning on the go.

If this doesnt work for you, let me ask a friend more experienced than me in react.

  7. 2

I started a new side project with a friend - an ambassador/referral tool for newsletters.

We don't have a landing page or anything yet, but already have 10+ very happy, paying customers.

If you're running a newsletter (or other email list) on MailChimp or ConvertKit, I'd love to show you how you can grow your audience faster with our tool :)

    1. 2

      Happy to hear more @louisswiss!

    Hi Rosie!

Just launched a V1 for my new product called Divuture (Diversify Your Future) (divuture.com)

It's a place to create, join, track, and crush goals with friends!

There is definitely work to be done to improve (like About page, notifications, a few other key features) but I'd love for any feedback on the site + idea!

    Thanks for this thread!

    Jake

    Hi,
I decided I wanted to help people with investing and managing their money and design a portfolio visualiser to allow for better understanding of their money/investments.

    1. 1

Definitely sounds like something I could benefit from as I get into the investment world! Any plans to start developing the project yet?

      1. 1

I have already started development, hopefully will the first functional version by the end of the month, would you like to be a beta tester?

        1. 1

I would love to eventually! Gotta actually get some investments on the board first!

  10. 1

I started a product matching people to mentors .. check it out and give me your feedback

    https://mentmento.com

  11. 1

I launched the MVP for https://synergy4saas.com. It's essentially a dating platform for B2B SaaS companies.

The goal is to match complementary services so that they can engage in mutually beneficial collaborations (cross-promotions, co-marketing, cross-selling).

The hard part is building up the initial userbase to achieve the first network effects.

If you want to give the website a spin, you can sign up using "IHLOVE" to receive free lifetime access.

  12. 1

Finally launched 1Do.Today in beta. It is there to help you, make you, focus on what's important everyday and harness the power of compound effect for your productivity. And share your achievements of you choose to, and praise and support others. The Twitter to Action! Focusing daily productivity.
    See at https://1do.today
    and
    https://1do.today/feed

    Feedback is much welcome.
    Thanks!

  13. 1

I just launched my website https://landingrepo.com with free and paid landing page templates built with Bootstrap and HTML. Topics covered include mobile apps, saas apps, businesses, training courses, events and more.
Would love to hear any feedback from you.

There are some really cool projects listed here so I wish you all good luck with them, hope they grow to meet your objectives. Thank you very much for the opportunity @rosiesherry

    Thanks for the question!
It's not new but technically it is. I'm remaking my existing project, SaaS boilerplate https://www.saasforge.dev/
    Many changes are coming:

    • ReactJS instead of Vue
    • JWT authentication instead of Flask-Login
    • Completely rebuilt the project's structure - I'm trying to adopt the component approach
    • The project will be open-source!

    Ideas Are Not Worth Nothing

    Fact.

I lost a lot of time on the tarefando.com project and today I believe it's not worth $ 1.

I ran into a technological barrier that is beyond my technical capabilities.

Now the question: Continue with the project or stop and let it die?

    1. 1

      I believe it's not worth $ 1.
Is there a way to easily validate the idea before pushing on?

I ran into a technological barrier that is beyond my technical capabilities.

Is it completely insurmountable or will it just take a while?

  16. 1

I'm working on a project and released the first version of it this week. If you play Magic: The Gathering you might like this! https://www.mtg-proxies.com. Thanks for checking it out!

Technically started in September, but it's been this month when things are really starting to take off...

Meet Sitesauce, a platform that aims to automatically generate a static site for any dynamically-generated website, be it Wordpress, Ghost or a custom-made backend. Sitesauce also keeps your static site updated, so that your visitors are directed to Netlify or Zeit instead of your server, saving you a lot in hosting while making your site blazing fast.

Would love any feedback about the service or how to improve the landing! :D

    1. 1

Very cool concept. Makes it easy to get the benefits of a static site without the effort.

      1. 1

Thank you! That's definitely what I'm trying to achieve

  18. 1

I introduced a new weekly option for the Album Daily newsletter!

    https://albumdaily.com

Just launched Saturn Funnels for beta invites.

Thanks for the opportunity Rosie! I've launched my newsletter, Unrestricted, this (last) month.

Every week, I share an article and some tips related to entrepreneurship, personal development and happiness. I started with around 100 readers, and now the newsletter has a bit more than that.

You can check out the first three issues below. Let me know what you think, and if you're interested, do subscribe!

Issue 1 - No Code Movement
Issue 2 - Open Personal Finance
Issue 3 - Buy Experiences, not Products

  21. 1

I started working on a website where you can read the stories from people living with diabetes. Still in writing and development phase so no link yet.

Pretty impressed that bubble.io lets you build in membership, upvotes, comments, and submissions. I have been very loyal to Carrd as a single page web page builder, but going to check out bubble now as a result of your site. Cheers!

I love that you made security a first-class citizen from the start by including a VDP, encrypting access credentials, and not storing unnecessary data in the first place.

Most indiehackers launch without security ever crossing their mind. I guess it's the right approach if you don't even have product market fit yet, but it makes me worry about all these vulnerable apps that will someday gain traction.
