Who here works for a startup?

Lots of context switching and general tasks because everyone needs to chip in to get stuff done. I was not familiar with SCRUM or agile methodologies when I started so I am adjusting to the level of communication and pivoting required. :)

I work for a startup Divine Touch Productions www.divinetouch.media, An international media production agency. Although I work remotely but I have been opportuned to visit the headquarter in Cairo, Egypt. I was there for 2 weeks and was working roughly all through.

We are a team of 13 in total and it's kinda like a small family. Everyone is super close and helpful. The office is quite big for 13 staffs. We have launch together while playing games during launch break. Human interaction is very important as no phones during break

While delegation is super smart and effective (everyone is at the top of their game and know what to do per time) but we look out for eachother and step in where ever there is a slight slack or setback of a colleague. Inshort, we all work as if the company is all ours and we have the most effective, nicest and hardworking team.

I work for a startup, it's around 40 people and my experiences are mostly positive. At a smaller scale like this everyone is still extremely approachable and it's easy to voice your ideas or concerns.

Are you looking for experiences related to a specific topic? There's various areas that could be interesting like the technical side (How are new features organized, is everyone involved in drafting the specs, who is in charge of what,...) or the company culture (How transparent is the leadership and do you know what's going on in the company?)

I work for a startup called www.Intandemly.com , We have an Account based Sales tool. So basically it's a CRMaaS?

As their Social media manager, I handle all of their social media approaches.
I usually have 10-15 minutes conversation with the founder, and the only thing He emphasises on is experimenting fast, and making sure that we try everything while keeping a track of all thing we have done and how it turned out.

The biggest constraint is since we are 100% bootstrapped, I have to be creative and make sure that we grow out presence on the web, with as just organic reach.
