I’m looking for a co-founder/partner to start a new IT business in the USA.
I have an awesome team of engineers (not the average ones, they’re top stars), but I have no idea how to sell their services on the USA market.
PM me or reach me out on ilya.p@rd17.org
You say you have an awesome set of engineers, do you have examples of their work?
Everyone on this site needs engineers (alot from the US I suppose), the only question is the quality of the work and the cost required (whether that's equity or just cash; cost is cost). You have almost no details about yourself or your team or your capabilities or what your interested in besides IT business (What is that?)
For example what people need:
-examples of work and quality, what your capable of and how long it takes to get results.
-cost to hire you for projects, first I don't think people would offer you equity for a good idea anyway without understanding what your capable of. You might not even want to partner on projects, but people might pay you to help them on theirs and that might be worth it.
-do you have references of clients your engineers have worked with we can contact?
For example:
A guy from the USA is bootstrapping a side project and has one developer from the usa at $35/hr helping and a guy from Eastern Europe helping around $10/hr. The guy from usa can do in 1 hour what the guy from Eastern Europe can do in 5 and doesn't require reworks or micromanagement to get expected results - making the Eastern Europe guy almost not worth the hassle - its almost worth just getting another developer from the usa at a higher price because they can make projects faster and with less bugs.
Okay there is a market need then, how can you address the problem (which is the quality/value proposition problem) - you want to work on USA projects and get paid more than you could locally, and it would be worth it for people in the USA to pay you if I could get more value for their $ than what they could get locally.
