Who owns the youtube content google or Youtubers?

I'd like to reuse youtube content as a source of data but I'd like to mention the Youtuber(owner of the video). Do I need his permission first or could Just copy it into my website and mention the owner?

uploader owns rights (based on your settings) but google can monetize your shit.

I believe the uploader owns the copyright of the content, so you would need to get in touch with them in many cases. There are certain exceptions to that, e.g. if you re-purpose the content to create your own video, or if you embed the video directly, but especially when it comes to anything commercial, you definitely need their permission.

Thank you for your answer, what if I embed it with the link of the original youtube video? I mean it's like creating a new youtube platform without hosting any video!!

As long as you use the YT embed, it's fair game, because it gives credit and views directly
