I've started a book club. Every two weeks we'll read one of the books most recommended by startup founders and tech pioneers. There's gonna be a lot of non-fiction focusing on productivity, wellness, psychology, and science.
I don't know about you but, 2019 is the year I finally get shit done!

Yay, I was hoping there'd be a few book club members on here.
I think being an indie hacker takes up quite a lot of time. Though they say you should devote 5 hours a week to learning.
I feel learning-on-demand and book summaries would be more impactful. But I really admire people who can read a book every 2 weeks. I can read a book in a week but then stop for months.
I'm hoping the reading will replace time that would otherwise be spent on Netflix or what have you. Once you build the habit of reading an hour before bedtime you should be able to finish a book in a week, especially the ones we're reading, they're not too hard!

Hi John. I think the velocity of books might be too high for me, but I like the platform a lot. I know it's a landing page hooked up to mailchimp but what message / discussion tech are you using? Have you considered whitelabelling the platform to other digital or real-world reading groups?

I haven't really considered anything yet, I was hoping about 100 people would join before NY, and it's exceeded my expectations a lot. So, who knows!?
Okay thanks, I would be interested in cloning the site functionality and running a YA (young adult) book club. Let me know if that's something you'd want to discuss.
