Who's doing outbound sales?

I'm doing some research for a tool to make outbound sales less soul sucking. Anyone willing to chat about their outbound strategy?

I'm doing outbound sales as a founder and it involves creating a list, sending cold emails, following up and doing demos, negotiating, and even doing customer support. The whole 9 yards but it's expected when the sales team is size of 1.

Yep, we're in the same boat. It's a LOT of work.

        What are you working on?

Outbound sales is not a one role process. If you are the closer, you need an appointment setter in front of you. Your appointment setter needs a role to deliver SQL's to them. And to get SQLs there must be role or service to hack leads lists. .. https://about.crunchbase.com/blog/outbound-prospecting-secrets/

Hmm, what do you do if you have a two or three person startup and don't have the bandwidth for this?

you don't . that's an unrealistic setup for an early stage company. You could outsource some of the lead list building to a VA but the founder is going to have to get the meetings and take them

Hey, I'm currently building a new market for a SaaS startup, and at the moment my main job is ofc prospecting. I'm targeting retailers, mainly supermarkets and drugstores.

You can hit me on LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/eryk-put/ or [email protected]

    1. Use a sales engagement tool, if you have budget go for Outreach or Sales Loft, but if you are budget limited, I'd seriously consider Sales Handy, a bit more manual but super cheap and incredible customer service. RE: getting good data, I've done a Pepsi challenge and Apollo and Rocket Reach beat ZoomInfo and much cheaper, and your budget option is Hunter. Lastly, re: email content and strategy look at Alex Berman YouTube channel, I'd say he is one of the best authorities on outbound.
