Who's hustlin' this Sunday?

Why?

That extra nudge of accountability to achieve even a small step on your IH journey each day.

To join in:

01 COMMENT on AT LEAST ONE fellow hacker's progress and give them an IH Point for their check in. Let's get in there with the encouragement/feedback! (Changing the order, because I know we can do better!)

02 Share your epic (a big chunk of work with a meaty objective) you'd like to complete by the end of August.

03 Share what you accomplished yesterday.

04 Share what you commit to accomplishing today.

Optional:

05 Share your Work In Progress to underscore your accomplishments.

Then tune in the tomorrow to share how you did on your own tasks!

    I'm hustlin'! :D

    AUGUST:

I'll be releasing https://trackmylift.app to the world and 🀞🏻 is a big success, my aim is #1 gym workout tracker on the market! Not stopping at small goals here πŸ”₯

    YESTERDAY:

    1. Added a review section to the website, to showcase some reviews I've gained from real life people who I gave the app to in a alpha-type stage. Update on product page
    2. Altered the way my add exercise functionality works. Update on product page and here's a Video preview: https://trackmylift.sfo2.digitaloceanspaces.com/AddExerciseUpdates.mp4
    3. When new set added (if row is off screen, scroll it into view)
    4. Above point made me go down a rabbit hole and ended up spending hours on bugs.

    TODAY:

    1. New sets added (new rows) to an exercise will take the values of the previous set (previous row) to speed up user input.
    2. Started on a feature on this modal to manipulate sets after the current set being altered, but it looks confusing so i'm leaving it out.
    3. Add Exercise functionality will be complete. Hook up to my API and add all the data into DB linked to the created workout.
    4. Make a start on View/Edit Workout screen which allows me to start on next feature of social sharing.

    KUDOS:
@harrydry on sharing his tips for Product Hunt and recent successes!

https://trackmylift.app still on track for end of August! πŸ—“

      1. 1

This is my first time! The number between the boxes is the number of upvotes. Pressing the green box gives an upvote. Pressing the red box gives a downvote!

Nice work Janice! I see these every day and it definitely gives me a kick to get on with stuff. So thank you!

Can you elaborate a bit on your evergreen course? How'd you manage to sell $5k worth

      1. 1

I haven't yet proven that I can earn 5K monthly. Thus far, I'm a one hit wonder. But I am putting it to the test this week.

The first round, I used an existing mailing list from the time I ran a manufacturing company in Cambodia.

Thanks for the compliment and pleased as shit to have you join in! Welcome!

        1. 1

That's cool. So you were selling a course? Do you mind linking it?
Can't see it on the Product Page?

And good to be here :)
