What will you accomplish by end of year?

What did you do yesterday to work toward your goal?

What will you do today?

What will you accomplish by end of year?

    • Hopefully a prototype of the full product
What did you do yesterday to work toward your goal?
    • Actually, nothing. Full-time job is taking up my entire time, but it's the one that pays the bills so I can't really do anything about that
      What will you do today?
    • I woke up early to start work an hour earlier, so I'm hoping that I'll stop work an hour earlier and have time to work on my product, which will likely involve more manual data entry

Been working on my side project for about a month.

Kind of hard to manage both this and my day-to-day job, but I'm slowly getting closer to release it, which is my main goal to accomplish by the end of the year.

EOY: Get MVP of https://MailBuffer.io out the door

Yesterday: Continued to yak shave the landing page for https://MailBuffer.io . I think I am close to being done for a bit. If anything, it will be working on the content more than the design/flow.

Today: Get back to working on the MVP, mostly around testing some plumbing of the mail addresses now that I have a domain and some DNS set.

FYI your chat window makes your Privacy Policy and ToS impossible to click.

Thanks, I didn't notice that! I'll have to play around with it as it gets set in their included JS code.

    • Yesterday I finished my project, a shopify app. I hope that it will be published now.
    • Today I've started a new SaaS project. WAGLYS. It will be a service that will help you organize your waiting list. So today I've created a logo, bought a domain, http://www.waglys.net but there is no website build yet. And made a roadmap for this project. I want to finish this by the end of the year.

What will you accomplish by end of year?

    • Read through and complete exercises for "The Haskell Book"
    • Setup personal tooling / infrastructure

What did you do yesterday to work towards your goal?

    • Read through and completed exercises for Chapter 7, Chapter 8, and part of Chapter 9 of "The Haskell Book"

    What will you do today?

    • See whether I can finish Chapter 9 of "The Haskell Book" and if so how far I could get on Chapter 10.

Been sleeping more hours since I got home, so we will see how many hours there really are in the day for me to execute :)

      7:44PM ET

      Timing statistics: 6h 40m (71% productive)

Still reading Chapter 9 (it's quite a doozy). But I'm more than a quarter of the way through the book, which is more than I could have said for myself a month ago. Still afraid and jumpy at possibility of not finishing by the end of the year, but one step at a time.

Found me a sales helper. Today I'm putting together some material for her.

We'll see if we can find some sales before the year is out. The way I figure it, either business are hesitant to execute with the holiday vacations pending, or they're ready to jump because they need to commit funds before year end budget rolls over.

Fingers crossed, and notebooks open for data collection...
