I thought it would be cool to do a post like this.
Just one simple question, who's the coolest indie hacker you know?
It can be someone that you look up to or someone who really "wows" 😲 you with their hardwork and dedication. 💪
Let's make some people happy 🤗 by sharing in the comments below. 👇
This guy named Courtland Allen. He's pretty busy and above my league, but boy is he awesome
Haha I think I might’ve heard of him 🙃
My favorites are @mikeslaats and @harrydry
Thanks for the love!
lol, Thank you
good suggestions!
@harrydry and @volkandkaya for sure!
Same here!
Cheers Wilson
Thanks, that means a lot as there are so many cool IHs.
Also being tagged with @harrydry is a nice achievement.
Darko aka @zerotousers
I like his work!
@rosiesherry would be super cool if there was a IH user of the year, or nominations or something...
Good idea! Now that IH is growing quite fast, that is definitely something the team should consider 😉
They are @kikobeats and @Michael_Andreuzza, of course. ¡Viva murcia!
Acho! The nicest thing I been told in a while! haha, thanks a lot, man! you rock too.
Ayyy, lets go @Michael_Andreuzza 🎉
@alexwest
and this is my talk with him

Has to be @anthilemoon 🙌 She is powerful force of "hardwork" and "positivity"
yo. yes. thanks for the rec.
I guess I'll start. 😉
Two indie hackers who really "wow" me are @rosiesherry and @8bit.
Awesome, quality content delivered so frequently! Thanks so much! 👏
Hah, thank you 😇
😀 👍
i live but to serve...!!
most folks don't know that i really just figured out how awesome this community was this year! i wrote a post back in march:
https://www.indiehackers.com/post/omfg-this-site-is-like-my-new-fetish-5f4daa9c2f
... and it's still true. i'm here EVERY DAY. lol.
Haha that’s cool - I can tell by looking through your post history ;)
Keep up the amazing work John!
thanks yo. this is fun.
:D
@momoko who has been doing a lot of great stuff with her blogging for devs community
I have really enjoyed following @arvidkahl. He has really cool projects and is constantly sharing really thoughtful content around bootstrapping your own business.
Jesse Gumm, project lead of the Erlang Nitrogen web framework. Year or two ago sold his Nitrogen side project to a major media company. He’s two busy to spend time on Twitter, but I had the honor of cowriting a book with him:
https://builditwith.com/nitro
Nice - thanks for sharing!
For sure @mikeslaats
👋🏻
None, till now. Most people here are selling their products, hunting customers. :)
I'd sometimes wish that IH didn't allow self-promotion in comments or posts outside of weekly stickies or similar. It would be really nice.
That way, people would be limited to directly helping eachother or seeking help in posts. You know, engaging with a community instead of a sales funnel.
i think part of learning how to not be an asshole online is by first being an asshole...
... part of the learning cycle.
... lots of newbies here... we can't hate on them for trying.
They are not assholes. It’s the lack of explicit rules that (in my opinion) creates the problem.
If there was an official code of conduct about self-promotion, it would solve the problem.
... i was being facetious. bad word choice. n00bs is better.
Haha
Haha, great way to put it, John 👍
That would be nice - others who agree should set an example and act as a role-model to make a change.
this!
