Cockroach: A startup that has either squirrelled away enough VC money to withstand a downturn or has just enough revenue to survive a downturn and take additional funding. Previously focused on valuation (and sometimes turnover), now pivoting to cashflow and profitability.

Bootstrapper: Focused on value delivery and profitability from day one (well, if it's even a money making venture in the first place, I appreciate some of us are building this just for the love of it).

A cockroach is a squirrel or has income. cool.

If we can come up with an animal name for "has income", for example, ant, (because ants work) then we can have a cooler way to English:

A cockroach is a squirrel or an ant.
