Why business is booming for military AI startups

Looks like a [former White House official](https://www.axios.com/2022/06/15/battlefield-communications-startup-ukraine-testbed is starting to get involved in the startup space too, specifically in battlefield comms - which until the Ukraine crisis wasn't a a hot industry.

Interesting to see companies like Epirus starting to gain ground as well with their "drone-zapping technology".

I don't think indie hackers could create any type of similar military technology, given how complex of a technical issue it is, but there be may room here for complimentary products to profit.

Looks like the Ukraine war has been big business for Silicon Valley. I'm glad to see Palantir, a controversial company, leading the charge to be political about the clients they take on. Tech companies and their products have the ability to change the frontiers of war, so they can't just be chasing profit at all costs, they need to be selective about who receives their tools.
