Why Convertum Was Built

Why we built Convertum

We kept running into the same problem: we needed to convert, compress, or edit a file, but every task seemed to require a different website.

Sometimes we also had to create an account just to download the result.

So we built Convertum — one place for file conversion, editing, and compression, without unnecessary friction.

The goal is simple: make working with files faster, easier, and more private.

We're still building and improving it, so we'd love to hear from other founders and makers:

What's the most annoying file-related task you've had to deal with?
