Why Did I Built it?
I built Banks Open Today out of frustration with how slow and convoluted official bank websites are when you just need a simple answer: "Is my bank branch open today?"
Most major banking sites are bloated, script-heavy, and hide holiday hours behind multiple navigation layers. Banks Open Today exists to provide a lightning-fast, ultra-lean alternative: real-time bank operating schedules, observed holiday trackers, and location info with zero clutter.
It’s built as a lightweight, performance-first web utility designed to solve a specific search intent instantly.
"Real-time bank opening" — for who? Tourists in a new city, or local business owners who need to deposit cash? The tourist wants convenience, the business owner needs certainty. One is a nice-to-have app, the other is a tool.
