Why did I created iCash?

I created iCash because I needed a better way to manage personal finances without depending on complicated accounting software, spreadsheets, or subscription-based services. I wanted something clear, fast, and reliable: a desktop application that lets people record income and expenses, organize accounts and categories, and understand where their money is going.

At the time, most finance tools were either too complex, too business-oriented, or not flexible enough for everyday personal use. iCash was designed as a practical middle ground: powerful enough to manage real finances, but simple enough for regular people to use.

Another important reason was independence. iCash stores data locally, runs on desktops, and does not force users into a monthly subscription. You buy it, use it, and keep control of your own financial data. That philosophy has always been important to me as a software developer.

A shorter version:

I created iCash to give people a simple, desktop-based way to manage their personal finances without subscriptions, cloud dependency, or unnecessary complexity. It was built for people who want to understand their money, keep control of their data, and use software they can own.
