I recently interviewed Luca Restagno, the founder of Hiveo, Hivoe is a Twitter DMs tool for kickstarting conversations.
He talked about how he started, his motivation, and also share some important nuggets to help other entrepreneurs who are getting started.
I particularly love his sincerity about how much revenue his startup is generating per month ( €250 ).
Here is my argument;
I have met a lot of founders who in the name of the press paparazzi choose to exaggerate their revenue and all that.
I still struggle to understand the benefit of a founder exaggerating his/her revenue.
Please let me understand.
You can read the complete story of how Luca Restagno built a simple Twitter DMs tool that is generating at least €250 MRR below.

If you lie to potential investors about your numbers, that's really bad, bad enough to not get investment.
However I think some founders lie to everyone else to impress them.
I agree with you completely Angus, and I think it's really a bad practice.
