Why do Indie Hackers NOT reach out consistently?

What keeps you from doing (cold) outreach?

Many indie hackers don't do it because they fear the rejection.
Does this make sense from your point of view?

Is the avoidance of cold outreach a way to escape the necessity to validate their product?

Or is it just an issue of time?
Are you just so busy building your product that you don't have the time to reach out?
