I'm tweeting mostly about things I encounter while trying to launch a side project. Also I engage with others, giving random feedbacks and pointing out stuff that needs to be fixed. I don't retweet often, there should be a big reason to do so, so almost all of the tweets are directly mine.

Her perspective on positioning is mind-blowingly good. Reading Obviously Awesome will defragment your brain :D
It's her book and the micro-SaaS ebook by Tyler Tringas that motivated me to write my own book, Zero to Sold.
Anyhow, April's work is amazing, and it will give you a significant advantage particularly at the beginning of a business when positioning is really necessary to get those first customers on boars.

Thing is, I barely have enough time devoted to actually working on the business. Let alone learning about ways to work on the business.

I was fortunate to have a 2-hours commute to work by train 3 days a week when I loaded up on all the business knowledge back in 2016/17. Making time to read/listen/watch and learn from other founders is worth it, before you start. And then, you need to overcome your own resistance and just start.
What was your 'work' before feedbackpanda?
It would be very interesting to know more about your personal life as a 9-5er to a sold founder...

That's indeed where I go into detail on this. Here's the gist of it:
Before FBP, I was a full-time software engineer at a German IoT/Industry 4.0 software business in Hamburg, Germany, working on an Elixir/Phoenix/Vue.js-based IoT data ingestion platform. Three days a week, I would travel there from Berlin, where Danielle and I live. The other two days I would work remotely. On the commute days, I'd take the German highspeed train, which locked me into a metal tube for 4h+ every day. Listened to EVERY Indie Hackers podcast, read dozens of books, added whole blogs of articles to my kindle. Read, listen, view. As much as I could. Solid foundation for the business, which started as a side project while I was still employed. It's important to get permission for that, which I did, and I made sure that my work was exemplary. But I was feeling the entrepreneurial urge, and I couldn't suppress it for long :D

I started my entrepreneurial journey around 2013 after experiencing the Silicon Valley side of things. Founded a number of small businesses that went nowhere or nowhere big. Worked as a consultant and full time employee in between. Got to see it all and take in everything. I don’t regret any of it. None of the mistakes, and none of the failures. All part of where I am now.
