Why do so many people quit journaling after a week?

I’ve been talking to a lot of people who journal, and one pattern keeps coming up:
Most don’t quit because they don’t want to reflect.
They quit because capturing thoughts feels like work.
I’m exploring a voice-first approach where you can quickly record thoughts, write short notes and later review weekly and monthly reflections.

If you’ve tried journaling before (or still do), I’d love to hear:

-What made you stop?
-Or what keeps you consistent?

If you’re open to testing an early version, let me know.
