Hey! I'm a freelancing startup consultant looking to launch a tiny Marketing Agency for Startups, probably within Sweden. Where I'm from.
I do this because finding full-time gigs is quite tough at the moment. So I want to try something new + I love working with startups!
BUT, I need some honest feedback on my landing page. Feedback on sub-pages is also appreciated.
Yep, looks legitimate.
I personally cant say, i have nothing to go by apart from the articles. Portfolio or quotes from clients can help this, but of course you're just starting out.
Yep, copy is simple and to the point.
I think the call to action at the bottom of the page looks awkward and is off centre. I think it look better jsut above the footer.
Also i think the long line ( for the "Experience" section) in the Benefits section needs to break onto the second line sooner as its running too close to the "Easy to Continue" part.
Thanks for the detailed input! Will have a look at that. "The devil's in the detail."
I see now what you mean by the lines in the Experience section. The button looks very centered to me though. Viewing from a mobile.
Ahh yes I should have mentioned, Im viewing from a desktop. The parts I singled out look fine in mobile!
The first part of the homepage that pops up that's all orange looks way too sparse. I think you should use this space to add more what your business does or reduce its size.
The section with the services images don't really tell you anything. What does the hedgehog picture and branding and campaign supposed to represent? Also, you should have a drop down for each section rather than putting them behind clickable images. It was hard for me to tell that the images even lead anywhere, and you should describe more which each plan does.
Your articles should be advertised at the very bottom of your page, since they're of least importance due to being additional free content you're providing.
The benefits and how it works section have way too much space with too little text. Again, increase the text or reduce the size of those sections.
I think it would help if you did some research on google material design for how to design your site: https://m3.material.io/
Also, shameless plug, but I'm currently developing a web API for AI for developers, and I would love some feedback from you too when I launch.
You can follow the project here for more updates: https://www.indiehackers.com/product/evoke
Good luck!
Hey Richard, and thanks for some excellent feedback! I've take a lot to heart and thus upgraded my website. Will have a look at the Google Design Material as well.
Many thanks!
Unfortunately, I'm not a developer so I probably can't provide much feedback on your API for AI. Let me know if you add a GUI for no-coders ;)
No problem and best of luck to you!
For the record, the API is very easy to use even for non-coders. You've probably dealt with something similar to a web API if you've embedded a YouTube video.
Oh, okey! Then I'll look into it :) Used AI to generate the images for my website. But now I've replaced the weird hedgehogs with icons :) Hope that's better!
It's much better now! And thanks for following.
You can also check out my twitter where I post a lot of Evoke stuff too: https://twitter.com/therealetch
Some additional feedback:
Good luck!
Thank you Tornadoe! I will look into some design studies and see what I can improve. Running a tight ship :)
Hi Johan your page is good but make it more interactive. Give a light look and feel.
What do you mean by more interactive? Like more animations, moving stuff? And could you elaborate on the "light" look and feel.
Thanks for the feedback so far!!
Yes some animations in blocks and your images for pacakges you have posted , is they represents a clearer picture behind startups growth agency ?
Look is good enough I have again checked it , look is fine.
You can put some quotes as well in home page.
Gotcha, thanks!
