Why do you post content on Indie Hackers?

Let's hear your story

  1. 4

I post here for following reasons:

    • Share my experiences in case they happen to help someone
    • To ask questions and get insights from people. Indie hackers have so much knowledge to share if asked correctly
    • To learn writing and generating content in general
  2. 3

Some exposure, feedback and I like the idea of getting "judged" by people who are doing the same thing.

  3. 3

I have had private conversations with a lot of IHs so posting here keeps them updated :)

Also writing it down helps me think through it.

During my initial days with the development of app.ruttl.com, I would constantly keep a look out on the community to gain knowledge about product growth.

As a started posting, I got great feedback and suggestions that have helped me optimize the product directly. The community over here is very helpful and been through a lot the common issues entrepreneurs face.

Hey! Love the look of app.ruttl.com / just checked your homepage (ruttl.com) and noticed that the video popup doesn't cancel the playing of the video on close.

@god Thanks for the feedback! Also, didn't get you exactly, can you explain a little bit more? Maybe I can get my product team to look into it

          Hi @harshvijay,

The video in the "watch demo" modal pop up, keeps playing when I close the modal. Nothing major, just a little pet hate when it comes to videos in modals :D

          Hope this helps :)

Ahh okay, I think I see what you meant now. Haha, any small pet hate always disturbs the experience. Thanks for the feedback! I will make sure to get this sorted with the product team!
