Why do you want to become a founder?
I've asked myself this question today and concluded that as much as I indulge in consuming, I want to be a creator and I love the process of making products, from idea to speaking to customers to find out what you're building isn't right and back to the drawing board, to getting your first customer, to figuring out what features to add, to pivoting and challenges that all come from it.
I believe as much as we're consumers, we should be creators too - I get a huge fulfillment from building products that people love and use e.g. whilst I was working in Edtech we built a tool that automated homework for teachers. we tested the live prototype in a school with teachers and students, the feedback we received, teachers telling you how this saves them so much time.
It's all worth it.
Some people become entrepreneurs because they see it as a mandatory journey to take. I am some people!
The fire in my heart tells me I have a strong purpose in the world that surpasses being an employee.

Many reasons:
I've had 3 businesses to date and am striving to achieve the balance above. I work on my 3rd business part-time.
You hit the nail on the head. I think I mainly did it for the passion of having creative control, having worked for startups and corporations - whenever I introduced a idea, the common respond was "out of scope" and eventually I got bored of that

I job hopped a lot and each time I come in with puppy-dog energy, ideas, and the skills to actually make the changes happen.
But that often goes against the grain of management structures. This is how I know in the long-run, I'm better off working for myself.

REALLY draining... that's what I'm doing now too haha, just hopping from startup to startup
You're right, I'm considering going back to freelancing or launching a startup, it's hard work but worth it if you ask me

I've done something like this a few times in the past of helping startups to improve their landing page to improve conversions. you've great reviews (social proof) and CTA to convert too, couldn't find a fault, only curious why you went with this "futuristic" look and has that worked to your benefit?
