Why does a small edit ruin the whole AI image? (And what I did about it)

Hey Indie Hackers! πŸ‘‹

A while back, I noticed a super frustrating pattern with AI image generation: whenever I tried to change just one small detail in an image (like changing a shirt color or moving an object), most tools would just regenerate the entire image from scratch, completely ruining everything else that was working.

If you're a designer or a builder, you know how painful this is for real workflows.

So, instead of just complaining about it, I decided to build a tool focused on generating fully editable vector graphics instead of flat SVGs or raster images.

I recently launched it, and the feedback from this community has honestly blown my mind (got some amazing insights and deep discussions going!). It made me realize how many people share this exact pain point.

I wrote a quick deep-dive article breaking down why this happens and how shifting toward vector-based AI changes the game for creators:

Would love to hear your thoughts if you've run into this issue too, or how you handle AI edits in your workflow! And if you want to test the tool itself, you can check it out here: rayzia.com/vector πŸš€
