Why don't we have a platform for capturing Pain Points of Customers ?

How about creating a new community where we ask users (business owners) to enter their pain points across different businesses and have a voting mechanism to understand how many of them face similar problems. Once we get some meaningful voting number and some details to the problems it will help indie hackers to provide solution or create a product for the problem or at least it gives some ideas on how customers think.

The idea came up when I see there are some forums of targetted business where it is a closed community of business people alone and some paid solution providers or marketing experts. So I thought why don't we have an open community of the same. Also, I am not sure one such platform does exist.

As of now, I do not have any business links or neither dev community( except indie hackers as I am a member too)

Looking for your thoughts and feedbacks

Sounds nice, I will be happy to be part of this as a developer.

However, I am not sure if users are going to be willing to join that community, i.e. I am not sure what the incentive is going to be for them. Maybe you can provide a way of following through with the problems of the users. Something that allows devs to post updates on a product that will solve the users' problems.

Having written this, this very much sounds to me like the GitHub issue system, but on a different scale & scope.
